Dakine

Dakine has got the 2015 pack market covered, with styles ranging from heavy-duty backcountry packs to festival backpacks, travel bags to lap top sleeves. For those seeking out untouched lines, Leanne Pelosi’s Heli-Pro pack and the redesigned Blade pack are worth checking out. The Blade is lightweight, made of Ripstop nylon and has a horizontal snowboard carrier built into the back panel. Dakine also has a new BC vest, a simple piece that has shovel and tool pockets, venting throughout the back panel and a snowboard carrier similar to that of the Blade.

One of the highlight bags Dakine has created for 2015 is the Gemini travel bag, which folds out into three separate compartments, keeping you thoroughly organized without much effort. It’s a pretty sweet concept, a highly useful pack for those consistently on the go.

Billabong

With new jackets, new snowpants and new pro kits, the main story behind Billabong’s 2015 latest line is that it is 100% recycled, made entirely of recycled plastic bottles. 25 plastic bottles were saved per piece, an impressive accomplishment for the brand. A few standout products heading into next season are Billabong’s pro kits, specifically those created for Tadashi Fuse, Bode Merrill, Wolle Nyvelt and Jamie Anderson.

Fuse’s gear, including his signature TDF 3L Peak jacket, has a work-inspired feel to it, while Jamie Anderson brings a vintage surf style to the ladies line with her Bora jacket and Caps pant.

Slash

New to Slash’s lineup…
The Happy Place: a twin shape, twin flex board with camber underfoot and rockered nose and tail, the Happy Place is a board built for those learning to ride.

The Brainstorm: A directional flex board with a mellow progressive sidecut, the Brainstorm has a set-back stance and backseat camrock, perfect for slaying backcountry lines.

The Paxson: Johnnie Paxson’s pro model features a reactive flex, meaning the board flexes from nose to tail. The board is infused with Slash’s Sweet Spot carbon for an unbeatably playful pop.

The Straight: Backseat camber, a stiff tail, and a setback stance, this freeride board is the same style that helped Slash founder Gigi Ruf win the Red Bull Ultranatural. Landing Strip reinforcement is strung from tip to tail, reducing chatter, while Ultimate Traction tech enhances edge control when conditions get sketchy.

Anon.

Working to build out their collection of women’s specific gear, Anon. is adding a new goggle to the mix, the wm1. A smaller frame and thinner foam across the nose bridge make the goggle a better fit for smaller faces, without sacrificing peripheral vision. Anon. also has a new ladies helmet, a lightweight model called the Keira. The helmet features Anon.’s new Fid Lock tech, a magnetic helmet buckle that can be latched and unlatched with one hand.

On the men’s side of the line, Anon. has a new High Cascade collab helmet called the Raider. The helmet has a lower profile shape for 2015, and is multi-sport certified. Another cool new tech savvy addition to Anon,’s line is the MIG goggle, which has 4 magnetic contact points along the bottom of its frame that connect directly to a magnetic face mask. The Balaclava’s magnets connect seamlessly to the goggle, so it won’t ever slip and expose skin to harsh elements. Last, but certainly not least, is the new cylindrical Relapse goggle, part of Anon.’s pinnacle A2 collection.
