Typically when one thinks of a dreamline, hiking your adversarial peak or turning down a pristine Alaska piste can come to mind. But not Simon Feigl. His dreamline is being able to ride, for he now suffers from a 26% physical disability after breaking both his back and leg in a snowboarding accident. But he doesn’t let it stop him from hopping on a splitboard and riding down 4000m peaks. Congrats Simon, you are a true inspiration.

This year Karakoram Splitboard Bindings kicked off a one of a kind unique Instagram and video contest – KARAKORAM DREAMLINES. To give our fans and users the chance to showcase your Dreamline – show and tell to the world.
The event was a peer voted process with the finalist being selected and voted by the Karakoram staff. The riding was important, but was not necessarily about the gnarliest line or a month long expedition; it’s more about the story, the connection to the line and the mountains, and the drive to make it a reality.
The overall video winner will become an ambassador for Karakoram for one year and will be outfitted from head to toe with gear from Karakoram and our partners! Both Second and third place will get killer prize packs as well.
