Summer is in full swing at Windells Camp. Campers experienced a week of blue bird skies, sunshine, and warm weather. Camper, staff and guest pros agree Session 3 has been hands down the best session all summer long.

Session 3 was the Burton Team Takeover with the likes of Ethan Deiss, Zak Hale, Alek Östreng and Knowbuddys Tommy Gesme, Brady Lem, Jordan Morse, Ralph Kucharek and Dom Palarchio rolling through camp. All session long the Burton guys hung out with campers on campus and got down in Windells mile-long Private Park.

Burton hosted fun activities for campers all week and schemed up a harsh surprise during the doughnut eating contest. Campers quickly learned that mayonnaise filled doughnuts are not that good. Austin Sweetin, Alek Östreng and Zak Hale threw down in the Concrete Jungle, finding all sorts of crazy lines and transfers. Zak Hale said, “I’ve been skating Windells since I was a camper here. I think about skating the Concrete Jungle all year. It’s always the highlight of my summer.”

On hill riders were laying down more hammers than a Gallagher show. Burton Knowbuddys Tommy Gesme, Brady Lem, Jordan Morse and Ralph Kucharek put on a show for campers. They killed Windells’ 20 plus rails, seven jumps and the newly constructed mini pipe. “Chase and his staff built another all time set up. The park was on point and perfect for getting photos, filming and learning new tricks,” said Ralph Kucharek. Other highlights include Tim Rechetniak’s massive airs out of the mini pipe, Ozzy Henning’s top to bottom lines and Justin Fronius’ session on the 70 footer.
